To donate directly via credit card
- Log in with your banner id and pin: https://secure2.vassar.edu/communityworks
- Choose the secure Credit Card Donation
- Edit the billing address. Your campus address is visible but your credit card billing is needed to pass forward through the secure application.
- Click on the Continue with Credit Card Donation button to process a secure transaction through PayPal™. Mastercard, American Express, and Visa gratefully accepted.
- Enter an amount greater than zero for Community Works Donation
- Enter the credit card information. This requires the payment type (VISA, Mastercard, American Express), the 3-digit verification number printed on the back of your card and to the right of your card number, your credit card number, and the expiration date.
- Check that the billing address is correct and complete. The error message you get when your card and billing address do not match will not alert you to the mismatch, just that the card won't process as entered.
- Contact information at the bottom (email address and a phone number) as well as the dynamically generated code is required before you can click Continue Checkout.
- Once you click to continue, your transaction is presented to you in the event you need to revise it. You are offered an option to create a PayPal account, however you are not required to create or use one.
- Clicking ‘Finalize’ brings you to the PayPal acknowledgement page which (after a second or two) redirects you to the Community Works Thank You page.
*Note: You can also stop by the Community Works office in College Relations to drop off a check.
Don’t forget: Your PIN number is case sensitive. Forgot your PIN or don’t have one? Click on the link for a new one to be emailed to you as your account is enabled.
Once completed, you will receive an email confirmation for your contribution(s).
